Achievements /Activities:
- Train and conscientise the faithful.
- Help the faithful especially the women identify their needs and help them find solutions.
- Assist groups in identifying sources of funding.
- Assists in the planning and implementation of development programmes.
- Create awareness and foster increased attention to gender concerns in development.
- Co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate programmers.
- Provide good leadership.
- Facilitate autonomous development.
- Collaborate with other agencies.
Impact: Two communities (Daaso and Nkwankwaa) have been introduced to use organic manure to grow pepper for local compsumption and export.
ECASARD assists in the ongoing formation for women in the Archdiocese. Training in modern farming technologies at Kumasi pastoral Center was offered to farmers
In conjunction with MOFA’S extension staff farmers are visited every week. Our photo was taken during a visit at DANSO farms.
The diocese has opened vocational schools for 3 communities (Debra Camp, Nyinahin, Nkenkaasu)
